Pyrex and Fireking finds

I couldn't believe my Eyes when I spotted these plates at Lost in Time Antiques today! I'm talking about the round Salad plates... the platters I've noticed there before. I'm over collecting the Fireking Jadite stuff, mainly because I have all of it that interests me, and now I'm on to hunting the old Fireking and Pyrex diner dishes... So when I saw these I knew they were going Home with me!

The round ones were tagged, Fireking Salad Plate but honestly, I think they're going to be just as great for Soups, stews and chili too. And, salads for sure...  The platters were marked, Pyrex Platter/Rare and while I'm not sure what about them makes them rare, I can tell you that in both cases, the Condition couldn't be more Perfect. And, perfect Condition always makes these kinds of things Perfect for me!

Look at that sheen... There isn't a scuff or Flatware mark on them!
I was in such a Frenzy grabbing all of these pieces that I didn't Realize until I got home
that I'd picked up five of the Platters when I only meant to buy four. This means I'll have
to go back for another to make it an Even six, because I don't do Odd numbers
the Chowders I made while washing all these new Dishes would have been
great served in my New bowls but I decided to go with my old Noodle bowls
instead, but only because those will hold more chowder for my Hungry guys!
a perfect dinner for this Cold night. Crab and corn chowder for him and
New England clam chowder for Brandon. I used the Best cream and there
is enough Butter in my chowders to make Miss. Paula Dean blush!
