I'm unhappy when I have to play inside but even being in the pool doesn't feel good when it's almost 100 degrees outside. Blech! He said it was impossible to trim and mow after work on Thursday because of the heat, so he jumped out of bed at 7AM this morning to finish the yards before it got too hot. I let him and went for a Pedicure. He says I'm like Goldilocks... Summer's too hot... Winter's too cold... But Spring and Fall are just right! Okay, so that does sound a little like me but since when is it a problem to know what you like?
Thankfully, this has been more of a dry, Vegas-like heat wave. No humidity today... It's a good thing! So I'm stuck in the house trying to make the best of it. I'm watching some Netflix movies and doing a pretty darn good job getting through my stacks of magazines that have been waiting for me to sit still long enough to read them. Tomorrow will be another 100-degree day. Thank goodness for air conditioning!
