A list of Thanks!

Tonight, after a month of planning and Two weeks of mixing,
rolling, cutting, Baking and decorating, I finished the 300th cookie!
I could not have even Imagined undertaking such a project or executed
it as well as I did without the support, input and Generosity of some pretty
amazing people. People I will always feel indebted to, and want to take
this opportunity, while I can still move my fingers, to thank. First of all,
my husband... The list of ways he has Helped me throughout this project
is too long... Secondly, my dear friend and manager of a Commercial
kitchen. Without his offer to allow me to make out with his 20-quart Hobart
mixer late into the evenings to mix up Twenty-six batches of cookie dough,
and use his kitchen space and blast Freezer to create 382 cookies, I would
have surely blown up my two Kitchenaid stand mixers at home, and
needed another month to finish. Jenny Arata, the force behind LA's
Signature Sweet Shoppe, for her suggestion of doing a photo cookie,
and for offering to Create and print the edible icing sheets I felt too intimidated
to try... Your YouTube videos have inspired me for a long time, and to get to
know you and have you be such an amazing Partner in this project was a Gift! I
do hope that anyone thinking of creating photo cookies will contact you to
experience the same Best-in-Class customer service and kind encouragement
you offered me! To my friend, Michele and her daughters, Kelsie and Hannah who
came over this evening to Package and tie 161 cookie bags in a third of the time it took
me to do Half as many alone last night - Thank you! Thank you for your hard work. For
being even pickier about perfection than I am. And, thank you for the Chit-chat too! A
special thanks to my Bloggie friends, Melanie, Monica, Teresa and Diane for your
constant cheering me on. Also, Bridget who last year, through her blog and e-mails,
taught me to create sugar cookies worth their weight in Gold, and how to decorate them
like a pro! I also want to thank my very special and fabulous friend, Scott Besthorn of
Aveda, Charlotte, for his confidence in my ability to create a logo cookie worthy
of being associated with the Aveda Clean Water 2010 Campaign
