A Special Delivery to Welcome a Sweet Baby Boy!

In last night's post about our gardens, I promised you cookies...
Therefore, it's cookies you shall have!
You see, a friend at work asked if I might create cookies for a very
special baby shower she's hosting this weekend... So of course, I
said I would! When I asked what she had in mind, my friend said
dotted bow ties and anything else I thought might compliment them!
Now, it's my opinion, the most complimentary baby shower cookie
ever is Dani's onesie cookie! I love the seamless appearance of her
wet-on-wet icing technique and over-sized candy snaps too! I've found
that the trick to achieving perfect wet-on-wet icing designs is to ensure
the icing consistency of all the colors is exactly the same. I outline this
technique in detail within my Recipe and Decorating Tips Guide here
Of course, no baby shower cookie collection would be complete
without a coordinating umbrella! After all, April showers bring...
May flowers! Which is exactly what Martha gives us with her May
issue of Living! I was beyond delighted to find Martha's May issue
waiting for me when I arrived home this evening - Isn't it beautiful?!
I cannot wait for the weekend! Now that my baby shower cookies are
packaged up for delivery tomorrow, I'll have plenty of time to read!
I hope this Spring weekend is especially sweet for you too!

I absolutely love these, they are adorable, ALMOST too cute to eat. Every mommy-to-be should be so lucky to have these at her shower. I received the cookie cutters that I won on your site this week and they are AWESOME!! The quality is wonderful and I know they will be so much fun to use. I still can't believe that I won!!
