More DC touring with Mom and Dad!

We started day three of our tour early this morning...
At the place that matters most in Arlington, Virginia...
Sitting here on the steps I couldn't help but
give thanks for another beautiful day to be...
In Washington, DC with...
Mom and Dad!
After touring Arlington National Cemetery, it was
time to head over to the White House for our tour...
But first, we checked into the JW Marriott on Pennsylvania Avenue!
Honestly, after being spoiled rotten at The Jefferson House
in Richmond, we all agree... The Ritz Carlton at Tyson's Corner last
night and the JW Marriott where we are tonight hardly compare...
Nevertheless, we're managing! After we unpacked and
relaxed a little, it was time to visit The White House!
Despite an extraordinarily long wait that exceeded our scheduled tour time by
an hour and a half... We found the inside of the house was as lovely as ever!
Due to the extra time spent waiting, we missed the opportunity to
visit Mt. Vernon today. So we've pushed it out to tomorrow morning!
Which is fine because delaying Mt. Vernon this afternoon meant we
were able to push the Williams-Sonoma and Restoration Hardware
outlets in Leesburg up on our agenda. And that... Was a good thing!
