Spoon Bread Casserole

I made it back into my kitchen today! I've been so disconnected from it for months...
 Not because I've lost my passion for cooking and baking, and certainly not because
he prefers the hot dinner buffet at Whole Foods... But because I've been totally
obsessed with my CLEAN program, working out and loving the results!
But last night I made a promise... I promised I would prepare a proper Sunday
dinner, and finally whip up that old southern classic, Spoon Bread Casserole
I've never heard of it before... However, it
paired beautifully with my proper Sunday dinner!
I think you'll love it! Just follow this Recipe and then
add a pinch of cinnamon, drizz of honey and a spoon!

  2. Oh my goodness, Janet... this is a family favorite...but I've never drizzled honey on it! It looks like it would taste amazing with honey on it!
    I have all the ingredients to make this except for the sour cream. So, it will be on my list for the week. Must try that honey!
    I was thinking of you last week, when I put my son, Jason on a plane for Texas. He had a job interview there. {not sure what will happen with the job, but} I couldn't help thinking how hard it was to do that...thinking that he may be offered a job and live so far. Then I thought of you. Here I was with a breaking heart over a possible son in Texas... and YOU, my dear ~ just thinking of YOU. {a brave ♥}
    Have a blessing filled week, Janet!

  4. I've been making this recipe for years! My recipe is called Corn Pudding, and it's always a crowd-pleaser.

  5. You know... one of my husband's most-favorite things is corn pudding - and although I have TRIED for 25 years to do it, I cannot get any corn pudding recipe to work for me. I asked him if this will do, and he said it would... so I finally feel off the hook!

    Thank you so much for stopping by!
