Concord Foods Reconstituted Lemon and Lime Juices!

Recently I was asked by Concord Foods to review another one of
their fantastic products... You may remember this post where I told
you about their Cranberry Bread Mix, which I served at Thanksgiving!
Well, this time Concord Foods really challenged me because the products
they sent for testing are products I have long believed have no place in my
kitchen. What's the product? It's reconstituted Lemon and Lime juice!
Sure, I substituted these reconstituted juices for fresh lemon and lime juice in
my seafood and protein marinades... And, last weekend I even used them in
my homemade pico de gallo and guacamole. But the real test... The
test of all tests for this product came today when I substituted Concord Foods
reconstituted lemon juice for fresh lemon juice in my Royal Icing recipe!
Did you know that three tablespoons of reconstituted lemon juice
is the equivalent of the juice of one medium lemon? Neither did I but
it's something I learned using this product. I also learned that Concord
Foods reconstituted lemon juice worked beautifully in my royal icing!
Believe me... No one is more surprised than I am!
But it's absolutely true! This reconstituted lemon juice blended perfectly with my
royal icing and provided the same bright, fresh, clean flavor of fresh lemon juice!
I cannot thank Concord Foods enough for the opportunity to
test these products. I would have never imagined using them
in my recipes but now, I cannot imagine not keeping a few on
hand for when fresh lemon and lime juice aren't available!

    1. Thank you, mamalama1, I love them too! They are a set of 3 cheese boards that I picked up at Pottery Barn Outlet in Gaffney, SC!
