Summertime Boboli Grilled Pizza... Perfetto!

I've been craving grilled pizza the past few days... And, while I usually don't mind
making my own pizza dough, this heat wave we're having makes me want to spend
less time in the kitchen and more time floating around the pool. So what to do?
Do Boboli, of course!
Just a quick brush of olive oil on both sides and a few minutes over medium heat
crisps the crust perfectly. Need grilled pizza recipe ideas? Boboli has them
For us it's simple... Juicy tomatoes, basil from my garden, crushed garlic
and plenty of fresh mozzarella for me. For him, it's always Canadian bacon
and pineapple. Of course, there has to be a BBQ chicken breast pizza to share!
With Boboli taking care of the crust, building our pizzas
is easy! After the crust is grilled crisp a little on both sides...
It's build-a-pizza-pie in no time, time!
Turn down the heat, close the lid and let the cheese get bubbly!
And, in the time it normally takes my own pizza
dough to rise, grilled Boboli pizza is on the plate!
Boboli is all we need for quick, tasty and easy summer time grilled pizza. It's the perfect alternative to the same-old, same-old hamburgers and hotdogs. Or as they say in Italy... It's Perfetto!

Godere!

  1. YUM!!!!!! What a delicious idea! Love Boboli pizza crusts but have never tried them on the grill. Great topping suggestions too! Fresh basil, garlic and mozzarella my favorite! I know what I'm making for dinner tonight!
Thanks for sharing the perfect summertime recipe!

  4. What a great idea using a Boboli! And I'm so glad you moved that lovely Williams Sonoma towel away from the grill grates on the left side of the BBQ - I was getting nervous! LOL!

  6. I tried BBQ’ing my Boboli for the first time this summer instead of the oven recipe I always use, the kids loved them! Said it was way better than the oven. The crust crisps up more giving it an oven fire taste & texture. If you haven’t tried this way of cooking it, you need to... you’ll be hooked too!
