Sock Team Cookies!

Yes, this means what you think it means...
I came home and got busy making it Cookie-time!
I still feel bad about the failure of the Dog Pound Cake I attempted to
make for one of my bosses on her birthday... So I have decided to make
it up to her and to her wildly talented socks marketing team by creating
sock cookies! Of course, you cannot make sock cookies without a great
cookie cutter so I asked my friends at CopperGifts.com if they might
make me one... Which they did! And, it works just like the rest of their
amazing heirloom quality copper cookie cutters. Which is, Perfectly!
In terms of what my sock cookies may look like when I decorate them
this weekend, I'm relying heavily on inspiration from the fabulous
Bridget over at Bake at 350. By the way... Have you heard that
Bridget's lovely cookie decorating book will be out soon? Oh,
yes! You can check it out and even pre-order it right  here!
So all my cookies are baked. And sadly, there are a few broken ones too!
Fortunately, broken cookies always seem
to make one of us in this house very happy!

  8. You never cease to amaze me with your cooking skills. I love that cookie cutter and I've seen their line and they do have some awesome cookie cutters. Now how long do we have to wait to see them decorated? Oh how you inspire me. I guess I'm going to have to order a cookie cutter from them and make cookies with my granddaughters next time they're here visiting me. They love to bake with GMaw and GeeGee, who is me me.
